As winter is winding down, Spring is quickly approaching. To prepare for the influx of illuminating energy into our reality, we are planning a group Spring Equinox ritual. This ritual will assist you in attracting abundance by filling your life with creative, positive energy.
What is the Spring Equinox?
Equinoxes occur twice a year, once in March and again in September. It is when the sun crosses the plane of the earth’s equator, making night and day approximately equal lengths all over the planet. When it occurs in March, it is known as the Spring or Vernal Equinox. When it happens in September, it known as the Fall or Autumnal equinox.
The Spring Equinox symbolizes more than just an increase of daylight, it also denotes the beginning of new life as vegetation that has previously passed away during the fall and winter months is born anew. The addition of extra light is a reminder that cosmic illumination will always return to the planet in a cyclic fashion. Therefore, the Spring equinox represents a new beginning. In fact, it used to be considered the new year in many parts of the world until a few centuries ago.
During this sacred time, our ancestors performed group rituals at the specific moment of alignment to assist people with removing old negative energy from their lives. This is the original origin of ‘spring cleaning.’ As the old energy was removed, positive energies were invited in to make a lasting change in the participants’ lives.
To work with the forces of nature, we have planned a group ritual that is designed to assist in utilizing this sacred way of bringing us closer to the Great Spirit as we seek the influence of divine wisdom and truth. Just as the length of days and night are equal, this time will grant us spiritual balance of both yin/yang energies which is an ideal state for our lives.
