This Halloween I want to revisit an ancient tale from a different perspective. It’s a story about a beautiful young virgin who honored and respected a goddess so much that she dedicated her entire life in servitude to this woman. In return, the very goddess that she honored and sacrificed her life for cursed her to become a hideous creature that no one would ever look at again. This young maiden’s name was Medusa.
